Timbila Camp is situated in an open area within the riverine thicket on the banks of the Groot River, with the mountains providing the perfect backdrop to the natural river pool in front of the camp.
4 People can be accommodated in the 2 spacious luxury safari tents, each with an en-suite bathroom, double bed and big shaded veranda.
Bedding and towels are provided and all the beds have electric blankets for colder nights and each tent has a small fan for warmer nights. Bed side lamps provide sufficient light and all tents are carpeted.
The kitchen area is a small roofed area between the 2 safari tents and provides all the kitchen basics you will need, including a fridge/freezer, microwave, 2-plate stove, kettle and toaster. A big fire pit is also situated between these tents, giving it a cozy atmosphere without detracting from the beautiful view. A long wooden bench provides ample space to sit and enjoy a meal together.
